LigidTools Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how LigidTools (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and shares information when you download, install or play our mobile game Glidecore (the “Game”).

Glidecore integrates Unity Services – including Unity Analytics – and Unity LevelPlay (the ad-mediation platform operated by ironSource, a Unity company), as well as Google Play Services (for Android platform features).

We comply with applicable privacy laws, including the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and COPPA.

Notes:

  • LevelPlay acts as a mediation layer and may request or receive signals from participating ad networks and bidders to deliver ads and measure performance. The roster of mediated partners can change over time depending on region and inventory availability.

  • Where required by law (e.g., EEA/UK), we obtain consent before using data for personalised ads and analytics. If consent is withheld, we serve non-personalised ads and restrict analytics.

3.2 Data you provide via optional log-ins

If you choose to sign into Google Play Games (optional), we may receive your display name, player ID and (if you authorise) profile picture for leaderboards/achievements and (if you enable it) cloud save. You can disconnect in your Google Play Games settings.

3.3 No sensitive categories

We do not intentionally collect special-category data (e.g., precise GPS, health data, political opinions).

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Run core game services (e.g., leaderboards/achievements; optional cloud saves if you sign in).

  • Analyse gameplay and device performance to improve features and balance difficulty.

  • Serve contextual or—if you have granted consent—personalised advertising.

  • Attribute installs and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  • Detect and prevent fraud, cheating and abuse.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not “sell” Personal Data. Under the CPRA, we may “share” identifiers and usage data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising only with your consent where required. We disclose data to the partners below for the purposes listed. Some partners may act as our processors, and some (particularly ad networks) may also act as independent controllers—please review their notices.

All processors act only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. For partners acting as independent controllers (e.g., certain ad networks reachable via LevelPlay), their use of data is governed by their own privacy notices.

7. International Data Transfers

Some partners process data outside your country (e.g., the United States or EU). Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA/Addendum, or other recognised safeguards.

8. Your Rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your Personal Data.

  • Restrict or object to certain processing.

  • Receive a portable copy of your data.

  • Withdraw consent for personalised ads/analytics at any time (withdrawal does not affect processing already performed).

Opt-out / privacy controls

  • In-game: open the Privacy panel to toggle Personalised Ads and (where applicable) Analytics.

  • Android (Advertising ID): Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (or Opt-out of Ads Personalisation on older Android).

  • Unity Privacy: see Unity’s privacy policy above for additional Unity-specific controls.

9. Children’s Privacy

Glidecore is rated 3+ and designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13 (or a higher age where local law applies). If you believe such data has been collected, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. We do not serve personalised ads to children.

10. Data Retention

  • Analytics and advertising identifiers: kept for up to 24 months, unless law requires a shorter period or you request deletion sooner.

  • Crash/diagnostic logs: typically retained for around 90 days.

  • Account-linked data (e.g., Google Play Games display name): retained while the feature is enabled or as needed to provide the service.

11. Security

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), least-privilege access and secure servers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when SDKs or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice or patch notes. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision.
